Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2025-11-24

This Privacy Policy describes how xvi Kaizen and Ontic Capital (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handle information in connection with the mobile and desktop applications we publish (collectively, the “Apps”).

Our guiding principle is simple:

We do not collect, store, or share any personal data from users of our Apps.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all Apps published under the names xvi Kaizen or Ontic Capital in app stores or distributed through any other official channel controlled by us.

If we ever release an app that does collect or process personal data, it will have a separate, clearly identified privacy policy.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not:

  • Collect or store your name, email address, phone number, or contact information.

  • Collect or store your location.

  • Collect or store your contacts, photos, videos, files, or calendar data.

  • Collect device identifiers (such as advertising IDs) for tracking or profiling.

  • Use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries.

  • Create user profiles or track your behavior across apps or websites.

In short, our Apps are designed to run entirely on your device without sending personal information to us.

3. Device Permissions and On-Device Processing

Some Apps may request access to certain device features (for example, the microphone for measuring sound level to detect “awkward silence”).

When an App requests such access:

  • The processing happens locally on your device.

  • The raw data (such as audio from your microphone) is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to us or to any third party.

  • We do not have any programmatic access to your personal data outside of what is required for the immediate, local functionality of the App.

If you deny a permission, the App may not be able to perform its intended function, but we still do not receive any data from you.

4. No Data Sharing, Selling, or Third-Party Access

Because we do not collect personal data, we also:

  • Do not sell or rent any user data.

  • Do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.

  • Do not allow third parties to access user data through our Apps.

Any information processed by the operating system (e.g., crash reports managed by Apple, Google, or your device vendor) is governed by their own privacy policies, not by ours.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our Apps are intended for general audiences and are not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Because we do not collect personal data at all, we do not knowingly collect information from children under any age.

6. Changes to This Policy

If in the future we create an App that does collect or process personal data, we will:

  1. Update this Privacy Policy, and

  2. Provide a separate, clearly labeled policy for that specific App.

Any material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
